Ruth Hernandez

Spanish Teacher, K5 Aide

Mrs. Ruth Hernandez comes to Quincy Christian School to join the faculty and staff as part of the Foreign Language Department teaching Spanish.  This is Mrs. Hernandez’s second year on the faculty but her third year at Quincy Christian School.

Mrs. Hernandez was born and raised in Guatemala.   Guatemala is where she met and married her husband, Julio.  The family moved to the United States fifteen years ago.  Chicago was their “first” home, but Quincy, Illinois, is where their hearts truly call “Home” for her family.  Mrs. Hernandez says that “Quincy is a very good place to raise children.”  Their daughter, Andrea, is a joy to their heart.  Andrea is a student at Quincy Christian School.

Mrs. Hernandez loves education, especially at a faith-based school.  She has studied at Alinare School, Erie House Community College and San Carlos University.

Mrs. Hernandez enjoys reading and music.  She also loves spending time with her husband and daughter.
