Board of Directors

President:  Ryan NorsworthyRyan Norsworthy QCS Board

“I am honored and humbled to serve on the QCS board of directors. It is exciting to see how the school has been blessed over the years and how faithful God has been in this ministry. My wife Pam and I have two wonderful gifts from God—Claire, 6 and Grady, 3. It has been a blessing to see how QCS has touched Claire in her 2 years and look forward to when Grady will be old enough attend.

A top-notch, God-infused curriculum, awesome teachers, great support staff, and a wonderful administrator leading the school continues to deliver results and shape lives for the Kingdom and develop leaders for the future. I wholeheartedly agree with QCS’s Mission statement “To provide Christ-centered academics dedicated to equip the heart, mind, and soul for life-long service.”

We are actively involved with our church, Grandview, and have served in the Children’s, Youth, and Adult ministries and we value the leadership and example that Pastor Thomas continues to be in our lives.

One of my favorite verses is Ephesians 3:20, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” I am excited about the direction we have and even more excited to see what God has in store for the QCS students, staff, and families.”

Ryan works for HTE Technologies. He holds his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, with a minor in Marketing from New Mexico State University.

Vice President:  Ann LingerAnn Linger QCS Board

Ann Linger has a degree in deaf education and has taught in both public and Christian schools over the years. She has taught in six states for a total of twenty-six years, and also served as administrator near the end of her career. Currently, Ann is retired and enjoying her three children and five grandchildren.

Ann’s sons spent part of their schooling career in a Christian school, so she understands the importance of Christian education. To Ann school is primarily a place of education, but she fully believes it should be in partnership with the home. Ann’s sons received a top education at a Christian school, and also have knowledge of the Word of God that Ann felt she had to work to achieve as an adult.

Ann has been a board member at Quincy Christian School for over four years. She says, “It has been an honor to be associated with Quincy Christian School. We are not a perfect school, but we follow HIM, who IS perfection.”

Member: Greg WilhelmGreg Wilhelm, QCS Board

Greg Wilhelm and his family come to us from the Bloomington, IL area, having recently moved to Quincy to assume the role of Lead Pastor at Calvary Tabernacle.  He has served as both Student Pastor & Associate Pastor in St Louis, MO as well as Bloomington and is currently serving as the IL District Youth President.  He pours himself into ministry on all levels and is passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God advanced.

He has been blessed with the best ‘help-meet’ that God has ever created, Lynette.  They are totally infatuated with their 3 awesome children—Madyson, Alyvia, and Rigley.  He is also a lifelong die hard Cubs fan…which is God’s way of teaching him patience, humility, and long-suffering.
